John Petrucci

John Peter Petrucci was born on July 12, 1967 in Long Island, New York, USA. He is best known as guitarist, composer, lyricist and producer of the progressive metal band Dream Theater, which he founded in 1985 together with drummer Mike Portnoy and bassist John Myung while they attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston.
