Vaya Danielidou

Vaya studied "European culture" (department of Humanities, H.O.University), "Film and Television production" in Leipzig and Berlin and took courses for "Film Direction" in London (LFA). She continued with post-graduate studies in Creative Writing (MA), specializing in screenplay adaptation. She worked with production companies in Greece, UK and Cyprus (feature films, documentaries, corporate videos) and participated in the production of television series (screenplay - pilot) for the network of SONY Entertainment in London, UK. She developed student cinema programs and workshops, which applies to both public and private secondary schools since 2002. She wrote and directed many short films, winning awards in Greece, Europe and USA (67th Cannes Film Festival, 11th Biennale of Young Artists, New York Short film Festival, Balkan Youth Festival etc). Her work includes screenplays of feature films, television series, video art and short stories. She was a member of the editorial team of the weekly free-press "Exostis". She is the founder of 24plus1 and e-EDGE online workshops. For the moment Vaya is living and working in London, UK.
