Matthew has been involved with digital media since the age of 17 when he was hired to be an editor for the widely popular TheOneRing.net web site. TheOneRing had a daily visitor count over 90,000 at its peak and Matthew was responsible for advertising and promotions related to the video game properties made for the Lord of the Rings films. His success at TheOneRing lead Matthew to a job marketing the United States launch of the Nintendo Wii.
Throughout the Lord of the Rings trilogy's run in theaters Matthew was published in numerous magazines promoting Lord of the Rings games and was asked to speak on several discussion panels. In 2002, he sat on a film panel before a crowd of over 3,000 attendees of the San Diego ComicCon before he could even legally drink.
Matthew went on to study Journalism at De Anza College and Mass Communications at Sonoma State. He received a Broadcast Excellence award for his time as the Managing Editor of the De Anza College weekly newspaper, La Voz, and successfully launched the school's first video distribution program, La Voz Digital.
Matthew is a certified Web Developer by the World Wide Web Consortium and the owner of San Antonio SEO firm Image Freedom.
