Born in St. Louis, Missouri on July 13, 1981, Brendan was very shy as a child and showed very little interest in acting until he was well into his teens. He did possess a great interest in it, but his desire to act was overshadowed by his inability to come out of his shell. Before that time he had spent years recreating his favorite movie moments alone, in front of a mirror. Not until he was 20 did he take his first steps towards his acting career.
During a Creative Writing course he was taking at St. Louis Community College did he decide to take action towards his passion. The next semester Brendan enrolled in his first acting class with Michelle Rebollo and he was addicted. No longer was his reflection the only member of the audience.
Shortly after his first acting class he landed his first part in Diary of a Co-Worker and then a spot as an extra in The Game of Their Lives.
