Biography

Spanish motorcycle rider. Started his career driving "Lube" & "Bultaco" motorbikes, but had his best moments driving a revolutionary "Ossa" in the 1969 250 c.c. World Championship. His bike, with a single cylinder engine, had to fight with the powerful 4 cylinder Italian bikes. He arrived to the last race with a broken arm from a crash in Ireland and leading the classification, but he lost the title crashing again in Rijeka. The title was won by Australian Kel Carruthers. On 1970, leading the classification again, he died after suffering a crash in mile 13 of Isle of Man's Tourist Trophy.

Known For
