Cecile Monteyne was born in Lexington, Kentucky, and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. She is the daughter of Karen and Peter Monteyne and has a sibling named Jules Monteyne. She later relocated to Toronto, Ontario, with her husband Eric Charleston, their child, and their husky.
Monteyne pursued higher education and holds a Master's degree in Environmental Science from the University of Toronto, reflecting an interest beyond her entertainment career.
Her career in entertainment began with acting roles in television and film. She gained recognition for her role as Dee Dee in the 2009 film "The Final Destination." Over the years, she appeared in various projects including the TV series "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (2008), "Zoo" (2015), and "Claws" (2018). Monteyne has also worked as a producer and writer, notably producing and writing the 2017 project "One Night Stand Off," in which she also acted.
Throughout her career, Monteyne has balanced her work in acting with her environmental interests, establishing herself as a seasoned entertainment professional and a budding environmentalist. She has also been involved in improvisational theater and creative projects in Toronto.
