Biography

Christian McDonald is the son of a rural Missouri dentist, and a graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. He was the writer of the recent nuclear war drama 'Aftermath' - starring Andre Royo, Monica Keena, and Edward Furlong. 'Aftermath' premiered at Film4's FightFest, and was released theatrically in late 2014. His sci-fi comedy screenplay "Time-Jerk" was recently selected as a 2015 Scriptapalooza Screenwriting Competition semifinalist, and a Final Draft Big Break quarter-finalist. Christian also wrote & directed the comedic feature 'Optimism' - a finalist for the Wetzel Award For Independent Comedy. The film screened at the Siskel Film Center's "Best in American Comedy" series in Chicago, as well as festivals in North America and Europe.
