Hartmut Mehdorn was born on July 31, 1942 in Warsaw, General Government/German Occupied Poland [now Mazowieckie, Poland]. He is known for Die Story (2000), unter den linden (2002) and DAS! (1991). He has been married to Hélène Vuillequez since 1973. They have three children.
