James K. Baylis

James was born in the suburbs of New York City, the city in which he now resides with his beautiful wife and adorable daughter. James has been a singer as long as he can remember, and started playing sports and other musical instruments along the way. Picking up acting in high school, he did musicals including his favorite, West Side Story, and dramas including Shakespeare and Brecht, and in his senior year he won the Sean Christopher Eddings award for Best Dramatic Monologue. He then attended Penn State University where he marched with the Penn State Blue Band, sang in the Penn State Glee Club, became a Penn State Thespian and a brother of Mu Phi Epsilon, the professional music sorority. He majored in music and minored in dance. He continues his education at Swedish Institute, College of Health Sciences, where he is studying to be a Licensed Massage Therapist, expecting to graduate in August of 2015. In the meantime, he performs, tutors, and teaches flying trapeze. Yes, flying trapeze! He's the all around "James of All Trades."
