Toby Dammit

Future porn director Toby Dammit went to Cal Arts college straight out of high school. After a year of higher studies he decided that his time would be better spent actually making movies and not sitting in a room listening to old farts who had not made movies in decades. Figuring he had two choices of roads to travel, one being the Roger Corman route of working his way up from the mail room, or take the less traveled road of pornography. Figuring he had a better chance at actually making some money with the latter, he embarked on his road down the smut-filled highway. Shortly after finding work in the adult industry Toby started shooting and directing very low-budget shot-on-video features for the likes of Visual Images, LBO Entertainment, Midnight Video and Arrow Productions, the guys behind the most famous adult film of all time, Deep Throat (1972)! After a few years of slaving away, Toby graduated to Elegant Angel where he made two episodes of the series "Elegant's Angels", an irreverent send up of the iconic TV series Charlie's Angels (1976) years before Drew Barrymore's big budget relaunch. After working tirelessly for years for various companies doing graphics, website design, editing and authoring, Toby returned to directing with partner Johnny Legend to film the cock-u-mentary Nympho Libre (2007), a look inside the world of masked Mexican wrestlers and the women who love them.
