Gerald J. Godbout III

Gerald J Godbout III started his career back in 1990 as a DJ music Producer. He started and was the CEO of Detour Records Inc., a Miami-based Dance Label, producing some of the hottest Freestyle, Dance & House music of the 90s. For 10 years Gerald worked in the music industry releasing five albums and more than a dozen singles. With a slew of top 10 dance hits around the world Gerald worked with & learned from some of the most influential producers and artists of their time. After 10 years he switched gears back to his childhood dream of filmmaking. Closing Detour Records and starting Godbout Entertainment in 2000 was a big step. Then doing what he did in the music business Gerald learned from the top filmmakers in the industry. Since switching gears Gerald has work on several music video for such artists as (Tito Puente Jr, Yohany, 3rd Wish, TGK, & Rockell) just to name a few. He also directed his first film in 2004 entitled Legends. This horror film was shot for a contest and was also released on-line as a free download. Since its release in 2004 "Legends" has been downloaded more than 500,000. Gerald now lives in Orlando, Florida with his wife and child and he continues to write, direct & edit with a new film in the works for 2006-07.
