Veronica Fury

Biography

Veronica Fury is a Producer, Executive Producer, and Principal of WildBear Entertainment. WildBear produces over 150 hours of factual screen content every year and has offices in Canberra, Brisbane, and Sydney. Veronica has over 50 commissioned television and feature documentaries to her name. She has worked with television broadcasters in Australia such as ABC TV, Discovery, and SBS, as well as major international broadcasters including ZDF Arte, Nat Geo, American Heroes Channel, TG4, France 5, and Arte France. Veronica has a strong track record of producing high profile, award-winning feature documentaries and credits include TIFF selected film Machete Maidens Unleashed! and AACTA award-nominated film Curse of the Gothic Symphony. In 2015 Electric Boogaloo: The Wild, Untold Story of Cannon Films premiered at London Film Festival and TIFF before being released by Warner Brothers. Her current feature documentary Iron Fists and Kung Fu Kicks was commissioned by Netflix and will have a 2019 MIFF premiere. Veronica is a member of the industry body Screen Producers Australia, and also sits on the Board of Curriculum at Bond University and the Advisory Board of Screenrights. She is a keynote speaker and guest lecturer at Queensland University of Technology and Griffith Film School. Veronica regularly attends key international markets including Australian International Documentary Conference (AIDC), MIPCOM, and World Congress of Science and Factual Producers (WCSFP).
