Brian Wendorf started his career in show business in very much the same way as Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson. He was known in his small town of Redmond, Washington as "Lil' Knuckles", but later was given the street name of "Herbal T". Along with his friends MC Milkrate, DJ Saltlick and the Vanilla Gorilla, the four went on to launch the most successful rap group ever to come out of Issaquah Washington - the Afronauts.
After the local success of their self-titled cult rap tape, the Afronauts took their show to Seattle public access. Brian manned the controls as Herbal T. The Afronauts Half-Hour of Power became a hit among teens and adults with nothing to do on a Friday night but watch live public access.
Brian later went on to collaborate with Brady Hall in the no-budget classics Polterchrist and the Gibraltar Code. His break through hit was with "The Jerkbeast" in which Brian plays Marty, a clinically insane man.
