Achilleas Gatsopoulos

Achilleas Gatsopoulos was born in Athens on December 1980, 8 minutes before his twin sister Kelly. Coming from a Fine Arts background, he moved to the UK to study Animation / Post Production and Production Design for Film and TV. From 2000 to 2001 he was working for the famous UFA Babelsberg Studios of Berlin, where he came to appreciate and love German expressionism. He concluded his studies with distinction in both his degrees and consequently lived and worked in London. Except from his personal animations and short films, he has also worked in British TV productions (BBC, ITV), as well as in feature films, like Harry Potter III and Tim Burton's Charlie and The Chocolate Factory. He has also directed and produced a few music videos, that have been aired worldwide, including MTV. Achilleas now lives and works in Berlin, Germany.
