Melinda Simpson

Melinda is an American actor residing in Los Angeles. She started taking professional acting classes as a kid to combat shyness. Melinda got her big break when she and her identical twin sister, Melissa Henderson, booked co-star roles on the NBC sitcom "Empty Nest." In high school, Melinda won the first runner-up award for comedy monologue at an acting and modeling showcase in New York, competing in the largest division. She snagged a few behind the scenes jobs while in college - even worked as a PA for Denzel Washington! In 2018, Melinda performed on stage before 13,000 attendees in a musical in Los Angeles, and was part of the all-female cast of "12 Angry Men" produced by Promenade Playhouse in Santa Monica. She holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Screenwriting.
