Singapore-born Simone Heng is a mix of Chinese and Portuguese parentage. Her background in the theater has enabled her to easily slip into accents when hosting. Heng also speaks German fluently after a year long scholarship in Switzerland. Heng's love of traveling will soon see her fly to India to host a travel show pilot for Discovery Asia. She has also just begun hosting work on an upcoming adventure/reality series for Kid's Central.
In 2005 Simone was invited to guest VJ with Channel V International on a series of travel programs as well as host The Rock Show , V Countdown and Remote Control. Simone is currently the Sunsilk spokes model in the Philippines and her face will be seen on billboards, leaflets, print/television commercials across the nation in 2006. Her campaign has also stretched to Thailand due to its popularity.
As Singapore's version of Carrie Bradshaw, Heng delves into writing to build her skills set. Simone's sassy sarcasm has earned her fan mail as The New Paper's Sexless In the City columnist.
