Chelsea Edwards

Chelsea Edwards is an American actress, known for her work on ABC's Grand Hotel (2019). Chelsea is also a seasoned TV journalist with more than a decade of experience reporting from coast to coast. Chelsea Edwards is currently a reporter for Fox 11 News in Los Angeles. She started at KTTV having spent much of the last five years covering every major story in the region, from the 2015 San Bernardino shooting to the 2016 Presidential election, and almost every major fire and natural disaster to hit our area. Prior to joining Fox 11, Chelsea was an anchor and reporter for ABC 7 Eyewitness News, becoming a viewer favorite as she covered everything from politics to law to entertainment, and interviewing many of the most powerful politicians and famous faces in our city. Prior to ABC7, she was a Los Angeles-based network correspondent for CBS Newspath, covering major national stories for CBS stations across the country. Previously, Chelsea was a morning anchor for News 12 Westchester in New York where she hosted at least 4 hours of live programming every day. Prior to anchoring in New York, she reported for News 12's Westchester, Long Island, and New Jersey stations. Before arriving in the New York market, Chelsea was a reporter and anchor at KNWA/KFTA in Arkansas. One of her favorite assignments for that station was covering the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton in London -- shooting, writing, editing, and reporting her own pieces. Chelsea also reported live from the American Idol finale in Los Angeles in 2010 and 2011 - an event she had worked on for Fox since the show's sixth season. Also while at the NBC/FOX affiliate, Chelsea reported extensively on local government and the extreme weather of the region - from tornados to ice storms to heat waves. Before her move to Arkansas, Chelsea worked for the Fox News Channel's Los Angeles bureau, where she helped produce the network's coverage of major stories such as the massive California wildfires in 2006 and Michael Jackson's death in 2009. While in college at Chapman University, Chelsea completed internships at CBS in Miami, the BBC in London, NBC's Investigative Unit in Los Angeles, and the Fox News Channel's Los Angeles Bureau. Chelsea is a graduate of Tuacahn High School for the Performing Arts in Ivins, Utah, where she received numerous awards in theatre, dance, and debate.
