Melanie Brooks

Melanie Brooks is a Los Angeles native. She began acting professionally at the age of eight and has since booked several national commercials and voice-overs, as well as roles in TV, Film and Theatre on both coasts. Melanie studied at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, earning a BFA in Drama and Minors in Television & Film Production and Child & Adolescent Mental Health Studies. Her artistic training includes studying acting at The Lee StrasbergTheatre & Film Institute in New York, CAP21 Musical Theatre Program, as well as screen acting at Stonestreet Studios. She studied improv comedy at Upright Citizens Brigade (NY) and The Groundlings. She trained to write for TV & Film at NYU's Dramatic Writing Department, and UCLA. Melanie Brooks splits her time working in LA & NY.
