Biography

Warwick is a highly experienced, award-winning screenwriter, who has written for many of Australia's top comedians and presenters. He created the black comedy web series Bruce (2016), the tale of Australia's first convicts, with his long-time writing collaborator Mat Blackwell and director Tony Rogers. The series won more than 20 awards worldwide including IAWTV Awards for Best Comedy Series and Best Writing (Comedy), and Best Screenplay at Web Fests in Melbourne, Buenos Aires and Sicily. Bruce was also an Honoree in the Best Writing - Film & Video category for the Webby Awards. Warwick has written for TV comedy and panel shows for over 15 years, starting with the ABC's The Glass House, soon moving on to Good News Week, where he won five AWGIE Awards. He subsequently worked for over eight years on The Project (Network Ten), in the positions of Web Producer, Senior Writer and Head Writer. Warwick has received development funding for feature screenplays The Devil's In The Details (an apocalyptic satire) and The Butterfly Ball (an animated musical). Warwick wrote, produced, directed and soundtracked several documentaries, including globally-distributed The Phandom Menace (2000), and satirical video concept album New Horizons In Violence (2007), which included the hit online clip The World's Worst Leaders. In 2018, he was Head Writer for online series That Startup Show, which has had over a million views on YouTube. He also runs his own media empire, Media Empire, through which he hopes to attain unassailable control of the global agenda.
