Biography

Joe's first acting role was in Michael Anderson's "Logan's Run" in July 1975. He raised his family and worked at Rockwell/Alcatel Network Systems for 25 years. He retired in 2001, wrote a nonfiction book about history called "The Texas Republic" ISBN # 1-55369-140-7. Recently this book has become two formatted scripts called: "The Escape from Eden," and "The Road to San Jacinto." Both were registered with the WGA in 2006. In December 2003, Joe played a lawyer in Brad Keller's "A Killer Within." In July 2004, he was in Tommy Stovall's "Hate Crime" as a deacon in the church with Bruce Davison. In January 2005, Joe played in "MovinG" an independent film by Andy Stark. February 2005, Joe was in Ash Christian's "Fat Girls" as a deacon in the church scenes with Debra Theaker. In March 2005, Joe was in director Arturo Ruiz-Esparza's "Veritas, Prince of Truth," a 20th Century Fox production. He had minor roles as a person in the subway scenes, and comic book convention. In October 2005, Joe was in director Ericson Core's "Invincible," a Disney/Who's Nuts production. November 2005, Craig DiBona's "Rain." Joe was the stand-in for Robert Loggia. He also played a prep. school teacher. So roles, no matter how large, or small are a learning process. Seeing films behind the scenes has taught him the importance of writing better roles, and making better ways to present a movie premise for production. Joe has studied acting with Cathryn Hartt. He has met some wonderful people on both sides of the camera. It has been a dream-come-true to have a chance of a lifetime.
