Biography

MFA from Yale, where he studied with director George Roy Hill. Has written screenplays for Universal, DreamWorks and Paramount among others. Noted playwright, with productions nationally and off-Broadway. Served in the US Navy Reserves, where he achieved the rank of Lt. Made his feature film directing debut with "Adopt a Sailor," which was an Official Selection at more then 20 national and international film festivals. Charles founded The Evered House, named after his father WWII veteran Charles J. Evered. The Evered House is an artist residency for veterans located near Joshua Tree National Park in California.
