Aha a.k.a Cyborg Ant is a future progressive renaissance man dedicated to creating content that raises the overall consciousness of his audience.
By the time he graduated high school, he:
1. Was a traveling youth minister in the states of New York and Florida.
2. Sang for international diplomats and members of the Reagan administration at The United Nations during a conference to promote world peace.
3. Actively flew airplanes such as the Cessna 152, 172, J-3 Piper Cub, Twin Comanche and the rare Twin Engine SeaBee.
4. and, toured with the Magic of Orlando Drum and Bugle Corps for four years.
Post high school, he:
1. Was recruited by The Joffrey School of Ballet on full scholarship.
2. Toured as a stand-up comic performing at venues such as The Improv and Bonkerz Comedy Club.
3. Studied the Meisner technique of acting with actor(s) Jeff Goldblum, Mark Pellegrino, Tracy Aziz, Tony Savant, Chris Liebe and Eric Edwards.
4. Became an award-winning writer/producer/director with his first short film, White Sheets Don't Stain an irreverent comedy about a Ku Klux Klan meeting that turns into a group therapy session after they realize the only reason they hate others is because they truly hate themselves.
Upon the success of White Sheets Don't Stain he entertained several offers to direct feature films, but there was one big problem. Aha is an autodidact (self-taught with no formal training) that is when it comes to the art of film-making. Before taking the helm on his first feature or series he wanted to self-educate to ensure he had a full understanding of every single department and their challenges within the industry. This would become a thirteen year education.
"Hollywood is and will always be my master's/doctorate's program when it comes to the art of film-making. What better school is there than the place where they make the stuff? And, why not get paid to learn? It's the same thing as getting a scholarship. You just have to work a little harder to convince people you deserve the job." - Aha
Since then he has been a camera operator on The Oprah Winfrey Show, DP'd a Spike TV Docu-Series, was an Assistant Editor on So You Think You Can Dance and American Idol, an EVP of Creative at a top twenty comic book publisher, VFX artist and Producer for numerous studios and most recently post supervised for the Fox Series, SHOTS FIRED, while post-producing Aisha Tyler's directorial debut, AXIS.
Aha, who now goes by the handle Cyborg Ant is producing his first series, an animated cross-platform adventure titled, SEX N' DEMONS. He promises that it will be the first truly immersive universe where the audience will be able to exist in both the narrative as well as the "real world". The IP is being developed as an independent venture and its flagship execution will be released online by the end of the first quarter of 2017.
There is no doubt exciting times are ahead of this young creative mind and he is extremely grateful for every single experience he's had while gaining his doctorate in entertainment at The University of Hollywood.
