Rick has been a producer since 1980. His first role in the television industry was as Musical Director for Ed/McMahon's "Star Search" (A National Talent competition that ran for 11 successful years). Rick supervised and directed, "Out Of The Blue", a sitcom in the likes of "Saved By The Bell", written by Moses Port and David Guarascio ("Just Shoot Me" - "Mad About You" - ABC's "Happy Family") which also starred Brooke Burns ("Bay Watch" - "Dog Eat Dog"). "Out Of The Blue" aired on all CBS Affiliates around the country as well as in Germany, where it is still on re-runs.
Later came "Ladies Man" A game show for the Hearst Corporation, which was shot at Universal Studios in Orlando Florida, which aired worldwide on the Cosmopolitan Television Network Latin America.
Rick also produced "Lotto Mundo" in association with Robb Hess (Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous with Robin Leach) this program aired on the Telemundo Network for 26 weeks.
Rick started producing Spanish language Television programs such as "Buscando Estrellas (A Spanish Version of Star Search) for the Univision Network, "Suenos De Fama", the "New Year's Eve Special", "Rhythm Nights" at Pleasure Island in Orlando Florida, and The "Miss Universe Pageant" simulcast and pre-show on NBC/Telemundo, (Live from Panama 2003 and Ecuador in 2004)
Rick was also the Executive in Charge of production for the Showtime Series, "White Boyz in the Hood", which aired in 2006, he immediately jumped in to be the Executive in charge of production and Line Producer on a project for Gabriela Spanic (World-Renown Telenovela Star), called "Mejorando Tu Vida that targets Latino women's physical fitness, it was released on Warner Brothers.
In early 2007 Rick worked on "The 79th Annual Academy Awards", "The Oscars" with co-producer Danette Herman. In May 2007, Rick was a Supervising Producer on "The Miss Universe Pagent" which aired LIVE from Mexico City on May 28th, 2007.
Later that same year, Rick was the Production Supervisor for "Aventura Live" (A sold out concert performance at New York's Madison Square Garden)
Currently (2008) he is The Music and Segments Producer on NBC/Telemundo's first late night talk show called "Mas Vale Tarde" which airs Thursday nights on NBC/Telemundo Network Domestically and Internationally
