Biography

Caitlin Yeo is a multi award winning, film, documentary and TV composer. Her signature style emerges from a fascination with music from different cultures and 20th century form. Her compositions are alive with a deep love of telling stories with music. Well known for he music on feature films Playing With Sharks (Sundance 2021) The Rocket (Berlinale 2013), David Stratton: A Cinematic Life (Festival de Cannes 2017) , Danger Close: The Battle of Long Tan (Sydney Festival 2019), The Butterfly Tree and Standing Up for Sunny. Caitlin Yeo has received a swathe of accolades including 5 APRA screen music awards; Feature Score of the Year for The Rocket (2013), and The Butterfly Tree (2018) and Best Music for a documentary for Getting Frank Gehry (2016) and Bomb Harvest (2007), a 5 x AACTA nominations, and 2 x Film Critics Circle awards to name a few. In 2011, Caitlin was also awarded the APRA Professional Development Award, which garnered her a spot at the prestigious ASCAP Film and TV Scoring Workshop in Los Angeles. Caitlin's music is highly original, unique and bespoke to picture.
