Eduardo Sansores

Eduardo Luciano Sansores Martinez was born in January 7th, 1950 in Veracruz, Veracruz, Mexico. Mother: Laura Martinez Tiburcio. Father: Eduardo Sansores Ruiz. Siblings: Mercedes, Rosario and Isabel. Nephew of locally famous midwife Maria Luisa Tiburcio. Her father died when he was 8. Best known as a Cultural promoter in the state of Veracruz. Poet, actor, producer, anchorman and deep passionate of the culture. Friend of Carlos Monsivais, Juan Jose Gurrola, Lolo Navarro, Jose Luis Cuevas, Vicente Rojo, among others well known cultural artists. Worked for more than 35 years at Grupo FM and was one of the founders of Instituto Veracruzano de Cultura (IVEC). Popularly known as "Guero Sansores". Family members called him "Chano". Died in October 1st, 2011, at 61 in Veracruz, Veracruz, Mexico. Had several tributes in life and after he passed away. Distant relative of Mexico's ex-President Adolfo Ruiz Cortines
