Biography

Jake Morgan-Scharhon is a New York based writer, video editor, and actor. As a writer, Jake's feature film screenplay, Rules For Drowning, was named an Academy Nicholl Fellowship quarterfinalist, and selected for IFP's emerging narrative program. As a video editor, Jake has edited television shows for HGTV, Travel Channel, and the DIY Network. As an actor, Jake's film credits include Chance and Wendy Hale in Guy Maddin's internationally acclaimed feature, Brand Upon The Brain!, and the Academy Award winning short, God of Love. Jake's theater credits include work with Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Seattle Repertory Theatre, and Obie award winner Half Straddle. Additionally, Jake's credits include both national on camera, as well as voice-over commercials. Originally from Seattle, Jake is a graduate of Cornish College of the Arts.
