Rick Owens

Rick E. Owens was born Thanksgiving day, November 25, 1964 in Dallas Texas to Reba and Eugene Owens. Shortly thereafter, he was moved to the small West Texas town of Kermit, where his mother owned and operated several small eateries and his father was in the trucking business. The Owens family has always been a musical family and Rick was no exception. He began playing drums at the age of eight years old and the guitar at twelve, after being highly influenced by his older brother Larry. At the age of eighteen, Rick began writing and recording original music and has since written and recorded over seventy-five original songs.Once the owner of Digital Glue Studios, Rick sold his business to pursue a career in film, after meeting Robert Rodriguez at the SXSW Film Festival in Austin. Rick has three beautiful children, Amy, Rick Jr., and Destiny.
