Matt Davids

Matt Davids grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and his love of film began at the early age of four when he saw Star Wars (1977). He became an avid fan of all things fantasy and science fiction but movies held his strongest interest. Davids entered the film program at St. Louis Community College where he worked with super 8 and 16mm film. While there, he wrote, produced, directed and edited numerous shorts. In 1999, he transferred to Asbury College pursuing a degree in Media Communications. While attending he directed & edited several videos in addition to writing two feature screenplays. After graduating in 2002 he relocated to St. Louis and founded What Madness Productions, LLC with Justin Buchanan. Since then he has written and directed several shorts and in May of 2005 wrote and directed his first feature length movie titled 'Forever Cursed'.
