Mieko Arai

During the early 1990s, Mieko Arai was a member of the Japanese all girl pop group; "The Giri-Giri Girls". The five-member Giri-Giri Girls were a staple of late-night TV for several years from 1992-1995. They released 3 photo books and 5 albums and even won a Best Newcomer award in 1993. Of all the Giri-Giri Girls, Meiko Arai has survived the longest with her career and she recently switched to Japanese the AV industry as a pornographic actress specialising in the 'mature' market and was active until at least 2006.
