Ben Hills

Ben Hills was born in Smithtown, New York (Long Island) to parents Gary Hills (engineer) and Ria (Wijsbeek) Hills (artist), who was born in the Netherlands. At the age of 7 Ben moved to Hopedale, Massachusetts, then at age 10 to Uxbridge, MA. At a young age he became highly interested in herpetology and would study this in detail after dropping out of school at age 15 as part of his home studies. Ben Hills met Stanley Tucci at a fair in South Salem, NY while visit his aunt and cousins. They discussed his interest in acting. At age 25 he moved to Dover, New Hampshire to go to The Atlantic Culinary Academy. Here he met his future wife Samantha Dodd. Shortly after being married they moved to Scottsdale, Arizona to start a life together.
