She hails from Luebeck, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. She has three daughters, Jessica, Jennifer, and Katharina. She was discovered by a talent agent on a party and was first not sure if it was a flattery to be compared with Angela Merkel. Since then she worked as nonofficial double for Merkel on live events, films, television, and for magazines.
