Biography

Tom Hunter was born in Dallas, Texas December 24th, 1951. His father, Clyde Lynn, who died in 1967 at age 36 from diabetes, was an auto parts salesman for Jeep. His mother, Marylou Dale (Corley) was a secretary in a bank. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson high school, Dallas, Texas, in 1970. After graduation, he moved to California, then back to Texas, then joined a commune in Arkansas, then left every personal possession behind when he left the commune to come back home to Texas. After that, he lived in New Jersey for a time where he was a member of the band Texarkana, then moved to just outside Nashville, Tennessee where he picked up his first motion picture role in the movie No Justice (1989). Also while living in the Nashville area, he recorded his debut album, "Square the Deal". He now lives just north of Fort Worth in Saginaw, Texas. Although he enjoys acting, Tom's first love has always been music. He writes music, plays guitar, sings, and performs regularly with the band, Open Range. Tom is the eldest of three brothers.
