Ian Vayne was delivered by the flying doctor in Ceduna Australia. He studied violin as a boy and later found his voice singing the Pirate King in his high school production of the Pirates of penzance. Ian studied singing further at the University High School, The Victorian College of the Arts and the Queensland Conservatorium. he won the prestigious Young Performers Competition for Voice and the Metropolitan Opera regional finals (Australia). Ian studied in New York with Daniel Ferro and in the Zurich Opera Studio before commencing a 17 year solo career in Germany, Austria, Swizerland, England, Italy and Australia.
