Larry Mitchell is an American television and film actor best known for his critically acclaimed turn as Joe Paterno's (Al Pacino) son, Jay Paterno, in the Emmy-nominated HBO Film: PATERNO, directed by Barry Levinson. Other highlights include his work with industry titans Jack Nicholson and Martin Scorsese in the Oscar-winning film The Departed, and opposite Russell Crowe in Ridley Scott's Oscar-nominated film, American Gangster. Larry often appears on-stage in New York and has starred in multiple-award nominated indie feature films. He lives in New York with his wife and their dog Monkey.
