His next feature film, "Dark Souls" (Mørke sjeler), a Norwegian horror thriller, was released in theaters on January 2011 and hit Dvd and Blu-ray shelves under the LIONSGATE banner. The film was in competition at the 29th Brussels International Fantastic Films Festival and at the 44th edition of the Sitges Film Festival. César Ducasse also worked as an editor on "Dead Shadows", a French sci-fi/action film that was released in 2013. He teamed up with the director of the film and created the production company Cryofilms, with the goal of producing new and exciting features that will appeal to a worldwide audience.
