Biography

Songwriter ("Enchanted Island"), composer, conductor, singer and author. After high school, he traveled to Buenos Aires to form his own orchestra, which lasted for two years. Returning to the USA, he joined the Enoch Light orchestra as a vocalist, then the orchestras of Meyer Davis, Sammy Kaye and Guy Lombardo. Eventually he joined the Arthur Godfrey troupe on radio and television, then reorganized his own orchestra, reappearing in several hotel venues in Florida and New York. Joining ASCAP in 1957, his chief musical collaborators included Tony Cabot and May Singhi Breen. His other popular-song compositions include "Hawaiian Cha Cha Cha", "My Hawaiian Love", and "One Kiss From You".
