Jason Underhill

Jason Underhill was born on September 9, 1982. He grew up in Simi Valley, California. After high school, he got his BFA in Fine Art at the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts), in Valencia, California. He received his MFA in Art Practice from Goldsmiths, University of London, in 2009. In 2008, his short film 'Jessie Lives' was selected for Bloomberg New Contemporaries, an annual National touring exhibition of emerging artists in the UK. Underhill has exhibited his films and videos at The Royal Academy of Art, London, Sala Rekalde, Bilbao, Hayward Gallery, London, Dan Graham Gallery, Los Angeles, and Landmark at Bergen Kunsthall, Bergen, Norway. He lives and works in Los Angeles.
