Partner in the Roxie Cinema in SF (1976-1984), written film and theater reviews for SF Odalisque, SF Call, New Mission News, SF Spectrum, Castro Star, East Bay Voice, BFI Monthly Film Bulletin, North Mission News, and New Bernal Journal. Prevented demolition of SF's historic Victoria Theater. Founder of SF historic preservation group Friends of 1800 Market www.friendsof1800.org which preserved historic Carmel Fallon Building in SF. Appeared in many underground films of the '70s and '80s including Curt McDowell's Sparkle's Tavern (1985).
