Lou Dematteis

San Francisco Bay Area native Lou Dematteis came to filmmaking by way of an award winning career in photojournalism. His documentary feature "Crimebuster: A Son's Search for His Father", premiered in 2011 at the California Independent Film Festival and was broadcast on public television nationwide in 2012. The film won an Award of Excellence from the Los Angeles Movie Awards and an Honorable Mention for Documentary Feature from the Los Angeles Reel Film Festival.
