Lawrence Smith is a veteran multi-media producer with over 30 years of extensive entertainment production experience in recording, television, film and international web casting. Highlights of Smith's career include revolutionizing the music industry as the creator and the executive producer of the top rated national and international network broadcast and syndicated TV series "Hollywood Heartbeat", the gold and platinum award winning Warner Home Video "The Doors - A Tribute to Jim Morrison", and the worldwide live BBC TV special event and MSN web cast "Light My Fire" Ray Manzarek - A Return to The Whisky a Go Go. Most recently, as President/CEO of Gateway Entertainment Group, Inc., Smith has been steadily developing projects for feature film, broadcast TV, cable TV, Internet, and new media projects in association with a carefully assembled team of experienced producers and advisers within the entertainment industry. Lawrence Smith began his professional career in the music and entertainment industry in the 60's by touring nationally with Philips Records "Richard and The Young Lions" performing their regionally charted #1 hit "Open Up Your Door."
