Robert Fantini

Biography

Robert 'Bobby' Fantini was born in Toronto, Canada. He moved to Europe with his parents at the age of 8. His father Val Fantini was a Drama and English teacher in Canada who first introduced Robert into the world of theater. At the age of 14, he moved back to Canada where he attended the Dante Alighieri Academy, and the University of Toronto. From stage, 'Bobby' started work in short-films film, including 'So soon forgotten' where he had two roles, playing both a 1940's Hungarian Jew and a Nazi Soldier. Between 2008-2001, Bobby was elected as the ACTRA Union (Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artist) AABP Secretery, Vice-Chair and PR representative of the Toronto Chapter. Robert was featured in films, including: The Love Guru, The Rocker, The Incredible Hulk, Amelia, Convoy: 'Wolfpack' and many TV shows, including: Urban Legends, Murdoch Mysteries, Warehouse 13, Cold Case, The Kennedy's. Robert is a graduate of University of Toronto(UofT), where he specialized in teaching Drama and EFL. He is a vocalist/guitarist and song-writer with The Phoenix Lites. As of 2011, he is working on his next project in Cairo, Egypt.
