Biography

Alan Blakely was founder member of sixties band The Tremeloes as rhythm guitarist/keyboardist. The Tremeloes who were signed by Decca in 1962 who at same time turned the Beatles down hits include Call me number one, Silence is Golden Here comes my baby. Blakely also penned many Tremeloes numbers alongside band members Len Chip Hawkes father of Chesney Hawkes.
