Miritana Hughes

Miritana was born in Rotorua, New Zealand, and is of Maori descent (with Nai Tuhoe and Ngati Manawa tribal affiliations). He graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) in 2000, and in 2003, became an original Australian cast member of Julie Taymor & Disney Theatrical's The Lion King. In 2019, Miritana joined the cast of AMC's Preacher for its fourth and final season.
