Julie Perreard

Born March 17, 1979 in Ajaccio, Julie Perreard begins as an editor in 1998. In 2003 she directed her first documentary films, eager to express and engage herself through this singular form of narrative. From 2008, she almost exclusively devoted to realization. Then she approaches fiction in 2012 with a first and very personal historic short film "Marcumaria" (Jury Prize "Corsica cinema festival" in 2015, Montpellier - Best picture KISFFI 2015, India), then "Versi è Tela" a collection of 11 short, modern and poetic films, written by the author Marc Biancarelli (Grand Prize of "Courts in Winter 2014", Porto Vecchio). In 2013 she discovered across the web documentary another form of storytelling, and realizes for "France Televisions", the Corsican episode (170 ') of the web documentary "wisest duties Disobedience" (Grand Prize "web program festival 2015," Paris) The human being is at the center constantly, and with it the poetry of the soul, the poetry which she ensures that it irrigates up textures and staging of her films.
