Oryan Landa (pronounced "O'Ryan") is an American theater-trained actor based in New York City known for The Blacklist (2013), The Devil's Candy (2015), and From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series (2014).
Originally from Washington State - where his first passions in life were downhill skiing and rock climbing - he also lived in 3 other countries and 5 other states before moving to New York. Along the way he's taught English in China, volunteered at an orphanage in India, spent a year in French-speaking Belgium, taught High School Drama in New York City, and traveled through 26 countries and all 50 states. His ancestry is both Spanish-Mexican (mother's side) and mixed-European (father's side).
Oryan started doing commercials while in high school, but discovered a passion for theater his Freshman year of college in an acting class with Nina Roman. He went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Drama and Mass Communication from Arizona State University.
After college he found himself teaching high school English in Texas while getting his start in Austin's independent film scene. But after a summer program at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Manhattan, he decided to make New York City his home.
In addition to working in TV and film, Oryan has done Immersive Theater events with HBO and Netflix - starting with the wildly successful Westworld and Game of Thrones Activations at SXSW in 2018 and 2019. On stage, he's recently appeared in The Laramie Project and Stories We Tell to Night at the Times Square Arts Center and Hudson Theater in New York City.
