Cherie Peters is an Emmy Award winning lifestyle, documentary and reality television Executive Producer and Director. Peters has spent a career making television that matches her passions including travel, food, music, fashion, art, entertainment, health and fitness, tennis and human interest stories. It was with that same passion she founded Pacific Rock Productions in 2001 and has produced series, specials and documentaries for Ovation TV, HGTV, Food Network, Fine Living and Tennis Channel as well as numerous projects for syndication and the Internet. In 2015 Pacific Rock completed production on season 3 of the health and fitness series "Fit to Hit" for Tennis Channel. Her multi season series for Fine Living Network, "Your Private Island" and "The Perfect Party" both earned Telly Awards. Peters collaborated with MOCA (The Museum of Contemporary Art) and Ovation TV to Executive Produce and direct the documentary Collecting Collections, which was on view at the MOCA and VOD for Ovation. She has executive produced over 10 music videos and a variety of Internet branded content for a variety of clients including Club Monaco, Penguin and Levi.
Her credits include Emmy award winning documentaries as well as network and syndicated series, such as the health and fitness series "Your Mind and Body" for Time Warner, the talk show series "The Suzanne Somers Show" for Universal, "One-on-One with John Tesh" for NBC "Extra", "Entertainment Tonight" and "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous". She also launched the successful HGTV series "Fantasy Open House" which continued for 3 seasons.
Peters earned an Emmy for the documentary "Pioneer Women" and won a Cable Ace Nomination for producing, writing and directing "Time is Running Out: The Aging of the Baby Boom Generation" and for "Beanfields and Beyond: The History of LAX" hosted by John Travolta.
In 2008 Peters plunged head first into New Media accepting a position with MWG Media as Vice President of New Media Business Development. There, she lead the team in strategic planning while developing and acquiring programming for a targeted audience of women between 30-49. In 2009 she Executive Produced the narrative web series "Stacks". Her continued interest in blending new media with traditional television has remained a focus of Pacific Rock Productions.
