Morgan Ommer

Morgan Ommer was born in Paris from a Vietnamese mother and a German father. He has been living in Asia since 1996, first Hong Kong ( until 2010) and now in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. His first career is as a professional photographer. He has contributed to publication such as Travel + Leisure, Time, Vogue, Harpers Bazaar and many other local ones. In 2016 he started experimenting with filmmaking. He made a series of short films. A number of them received official selections in International film festivals throughout the world. In 2021, he co-directed a VR experience Madame Pirate : Becoming a Legend. This project went to Kaohsiung Intenational Film Festival, , Cannes, NewImages, Bucheon International Film Festival and Melbourne. He is still based in Vietnam
