Fernanda De Capua is a Brazilian writer and director, who has worked as an independent film producer for 15 years. Her productions include "Fish Dreams", Prix Regarde Jeunes - Cannes 2006; "Laura", Best Doc - Hamptons Int. Film Festival 2011; and "Casa Grande, or The Ballad of Poor Jean" - Audience and Fipresci Awards at Cinélatino, Rencontres de Toulouse, among others. She has co-directed and co-written the comedy series "Insustentáveis" and was awarded a federal grant to develop the drama series "Águas Espraiadas". For the past 10 years she has acted as consultant and pitch trainer in meetings, festivals and labs in Brazil, Bolivia, Colombia, Costa Rica and Georgia. She's a coordinator at Icumam Lab and works as a freelance script doctor. She is a partner at Vermelho Filmes.
