Biography

Judd King grew up predominantly in Northern California but spent time on both coasts. He graduated from USC with an MFA in Film Production, the US Marine Corps Officer Candidates' School PLC JR program, and Colgate University with honors in philosophy. He has directed numerous award-winning short films, including "Running Without Sound" (which played at over fifty film festivals and is distributed by Wolfe Video), "The Wounded", and "Cecilia Rose". Upon graduating from USC, he taught filmmaking at Viewpoint School where several of the short films he mentored have also won awards, including "My Brother, My Anchor" and "Veritas". His non-entertainment industry background encompasses bronze foundry work, leading wilderness trips and building management. As of 2010, his focus has shifted entirely to feature projects.
