Over the past 16 years Mike has worked in nearly every format of unscripted television. From major network studio game shows (Weakest Link, Dog Eat Dog and Hole In the Wall) to field based reality productions (Average Joe, Three Wishes, The Superstars, What Chilli Wants), Hazan has been able to successfully develop and produce content while bringing a fun and positive attitude to every project.
Mike serves as the Head of Episodic Content for the recently launched live streaming video platform, Collide.
Prior to Collide, in the fall of 2014, Hazan was hired by Mario Lopez to develop and produce content for Lopez's Via Mar Productions which had an overall deal with Warner Brothers. During that time, Mike developed and sold unscripted projects while creating digital content for Mario's personal YouTube Channel.
Before joining Mario Lopez's company, Mike served as Head of Development and Co-Executive Producer for Juma Entertainment. Mike has developed, sold, and produced projects for broadcast and cable networks such as: ABC, FOX, CMT, Travel Channel, TruTV, Oxygen, TV One, Nickelodeon, WEtv, Turner Sports, and DIY Network.
On the digital side, in addition to Collide, Hazan has created content and programming for Youtube, Disney Parks, and the world of Esports.
With experience next to some of televisions best behind the camera talent, Mike also knows how to manage on camera talent. The personalities that Mike has produced span the world of professional athletics, music, television and film: Mario Lopez, Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas, Floyd Mayweather Jr, JB Smoove and Amy Grant have all had the pleasure of letting Hazan boss them around for a few minutes of television.
Hazan lives in Los Angeles with his beautiful wife and 2 amazing daughters.
